Keke Palmer has filed for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Darius Jackson, alleging in a court filing that Jackson physically abused her during their two-year relationship, People and Entertainment Tonight reported on Thursday.

The "Nope" actor has also filed for sole custody of their 8-month-old son, Leodis, per the reports.

Keke Palmer started dating Darius Jackson in 2021.

Palmer and Jackson went public with their relationship in August 2021 when Jackson took to Instagram to share a now-deleted post to mark Palmer's 28th birthday.

He wrote: "To the birthday girl.. never would've expected summer 2021 to turn out the way it did but here we are. You've been a blessing from above & i thank you for showing me a lot of feelings i didn't know i had in me & also seeing me as someone you can finally be yourself to."

Their son, Leo, was born in February 2023.

In 2022, rumors swirled that Palmer was pregnant, but it wasn't until she hosted "Saturday Night Live" in December 2022 that she confirmed she was expecting her first child.

Palmer opened her coat to show off her baby bump during her opening monologue.

The star took to Instagram to announce the birth of her and Jackson's son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, in February.

Palmer explained the meaning behind Leo's full name in an episode of the "Baby, This Is Keke Palmer" podcast before he was born.

She said: "We're not saying the name, but the name for us — it gives American. It gives Black American storyline. We want it to just be like — we're not going for anything too unique. It's not about to be Stone and Sand. It's just like a nice natural [name]."

Darius Jackson has acted in a few small projects, and also works as a fitness instructor.

Jackson has made a few minor appearances in TV shows like "Games People Play," and "KeyTV's SportsFan," for which he was credited as Darius Daulton.

Per IMDb, he's also set to play Agent Moyo in an upcoming science-fiction movie, "Dawn of the Predator."

Jackson also works as a fitness instructor at Inspire Fitness.

His biography states that his family are athletes, and he got a football scholarship at Fresno State University before focusing on a career in sports media.

Jackson's older brother, Sarunas J. Jackson, is also known for playing Alejandro "Dro" Peña in HBO's "Insecure," as well as Isaac Hall in the Freeform series "Good Trouble."

Jackson previously criticized Keke Palmer over her outfit at an Usher concert.

In July, Palmer watched Usher perform in Las Vegas while wearing a body suit and sheer dress combo.

At one point, the "Climax" singer brought Palmer onstage and sang "There Goes My Baby" to her in front of the audience.

Jackson took to X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to criticize his partner's choice of outfit in a series of since-deleted tweets.

He first replied to a clip of the performance, writing: "It's the outfit tho.. you a mom."

Jackson continued; "We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn't want the wife & mother to his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others & he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family & my representation. I have standards & morals to what I believe. I rest my case."

Palmer appeared to respond to Jackson with a tweet of her own.

She wrote: "One thing is certain and one thing is true, IM A MOTHA, through and through! To all my mom's out there, how did your baby change you??"

Palmer added: "Mine empowered me! On such another level, my perspective changed because when my baby is good I'm GREAT! Look at that face! Gratitude galore."

In August, Entertainment Tonight reported that the pair had broken up after the drama over Palmer's outfit at the Usher concert.

However, Jackson responded in a since-deleted tweet: "I haven't spoken to anyone about anything or gave permission to anyone to speak for me.. So all these sites & post about me making any type of statement is false.."

Entertainment Tonight reported Thursday that in her court filing, Palmer said that she and Jackson ended their relationship last month.
