A month after rap mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs turned 50, he officially celebrated with a huge, star-studded birthday bash.
"Happy birthday, Puff," Usher said in an Instagram story video on the way to the party. "Celebrating 50 years of excellence."
Blige serenaded Diddy onstage with a rendition of "Happy Birthday," as he did for her in 2018 when she received her Hollywood Walk of Fame star. Lil Kim and Usher also performed, according to Instagram story videos from @food god.
Diddy's birthday cake – er, cakes – spelled out the word "LOVE." Each letter was an individual cake frosted in white and adorned with gold candles.
Several members of the Kardashian crew, including Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, Kanye West and Kris Jenner were in attendance, according to Instagram posts from Kim and other party guests. Vanity Fair posted exclusive portraits of some of the night's high-profile guests.
"What a great party," said Anastasia Soare, CEO of Anastasia Beverly Hills, who was recorded with Kris Jenner at the party, in a series of Instagram Story videos Sunday morning. "So many people came to celebrate him, pay respects to his life, show him love. I was so impressed. ... Everyone was there."
Although the day was focused on Diddy, the rapper focused on ex Kim Porter, who died in November 2018 from pneumonia at 47.
He posted a tribute to his Instagram Sunday, her birthday.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY @ladykp," he captioned a video filled with clips of Porter. "Words can’t explain how much we miss you but today is your birthday. We’re celebrating you today! We love and we miss you!!!!!"
