Every Change Taylor Swift Made to Eras Tour in Europe: New Costumes, Setlist Order, and More

She's baaaaaack.

Taylor Swift just embarked on the next leg of her mega-successful Eras Tour, which began more than a year ago and will continue through the end of 2024. Swift took a short break from tour to relax and release a new album, the whopping, record-shattering 31-song anthology The Tortured Poets Department, but as of May 8, the Eras Tour has returned — with a few notable changes.

For the first performance of the tour's European leg in Paris, Swifties everywhere were delighted to discover that the show had been tweaked to include songs from TTPD. It wasn't too much of a surprise, as Swift did give us a sneak peek at some new choreography in a recent “Fortnight” video compilation.) But that's not all. Swift and her team changed the order of the show, added new costumes, and more. You gotta keep it fresh, right?

Taylor Swift will tour throughout Europe for most of the summer before taking a break in September and October. She'll pick up again in Canada in November, with the final Eras Tour show taking place on December 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia.

Below, find out everything about the updates to the Eras Tour, including which songs have been added and removed from the setlist.

There's a whole part of the show dedicated to Tortured Poets Department.

The new album makes an appearance in the revamped intro, and Swift has also added an entire segment to the concert to support her latest release. During the TTPD portion of the show, Swift wears a white high-low dress designed by Vivienne Westwood that is covered in text reading “I love you, it's ruining my life.” (Read more about the custom dress here.)

She then puts on her actress hat and is forcibly changed by two dancers into a top and mini short set with a gold ringmaster's jacket to perform “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," acting out the theme of the song. Other songs added to the setlist from TTPD include “But Daddy I Love Him,” “Who's Afraid of Little Old Me,” “Fortnight,” “Down Bad,” “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived,” and “So High School.”

There are new costumes and new visuals.

Besides the aforementioned white Poets dress and gold ringmaster's jacket, Swift has a handful of new outfits for this leg of tour, including a fresh pinkish-orange Versace jacket and bodysuit for Lover, a pink and teal two-piece for 1989, and a swingy, fringy new Fearless dress reminiscent of her original Fearless tour look from 2009.

The Paris show also revealed that the Red graphic tee now reads “This is not Taylor's version" — sending fans into a tizzy to decode its meaning. The visuals also got a refresh; at one point, Swift's eyes turn white as she sings, and in another clip, a UFO hovers over her as if she's being abducted by aliens as she sings “Down Bad."

The Folklore and Evermore sets have been condensed into one.

Swift had to make space for the new songs, of course, so Folklore and Evermore have now been combined into one set. “We have now reunited the sisters and combined them into one chapter,” Swift said onstage.

Some fan favorite songs have been axed.

See ya, “The Archer!” and “Long Live.” To the chagrin of many Swifties, “Tolerate It,” “The Last Great American Dynasty,” “The 1," and “'Tis the Damn Season” have also been chopped.

The run of show has changed.

Swift has also mixed up the order of her eras. The show still begins with Lover, but then moves into Fearless, Red, Speak Now, Reputation, Folklore/Evermore, 1989, TTPD, her surprise songs, then finally Midnights.
