Chicago fans, you guys are awesome! When we posted our five suggestions for a fourth show to add to the NBC franchise of Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Med, you not only made us feel all warm and fuzzy about our ideas, you shared your own damn good ones.

So we want to return the favor. Below are the six best concepts we read in the comments, complete with fleshed out storylines and suggested casting. Dick Wolf, are you listening?

1. Chicago Public
Jeffrey H wrote, “How bout Chicago ED, based around the school system? The characters from the other 3 shows would still work in this,” and Chelika said, “Chicago inner city schools would make for good drama. Little Dangerous Minds.” Even though summer series Zoo was renewed, this seems like the perfect vehicle for Mad Men alum James Wolk, if only because he has that great head of hair made for his hands to run through when he’s playing “frustrated,” which, let’s be honest, will be a common emotion portrayed on this series. Creed’s Tessa Thompson plays the guidance counselor and best friend to Wolk’s vice principal. And she obviously has a crush.

2. Chicago P.I.
Michael H wrote, “Chicago P.I., about a private investigation firm. They could do crossover shows with the other shows. Fraud, insurance investigations, criminal defense investigations, missing persons investigations, fire investigations.” We see Fringe’s Lance Reddick, as a former colleague of Voight, launching his own detective agency shortly after leaving the police force for some mysterious reason. But he soon learns he can’t swing it alone, and hires a smart and outspoken young apprentice, played by Brenda Song. A few weeks into the series, they’ll realize they need some muscle if they’re really going to investigate high-profile cases, and Mickey Rourke makes his television debut.

3. Chicago Law
After writing this title in all caps with a couple exclamation points, C made a solid point in favor of this one: “I really thought that was going to happen with Severide’s new girlfriend being a Lawyer and all…..” Indeed, that weaselly Jamie Killian, played by Rachel Nichols, would make a great villain opposite a determined district attorney played by America Ferrera, who would be even more successful if her boss, a slippery John Slattery, would just get out of her way.

4. Chicago DHS
“How about Chicago Social Services? City social workers from various backgrounds who tackle major issues no one wants to talk about or taboo subjects: HIV/AIDS, race relations, incest, sexism, homophobia, religious vs. medical, etc.,” said our reader Harry. Roger Rabbit wrote, “Seriously, why hasn’t anyone taken advantage of the drama going on in human services? The characters of the case managers and clients alone would be a win-win.” We’re right there with ya, and we see a re-teaming of Twilight parents Billy Burke and Sarah Clarke as the do-gooder case managers determined to cut away the red tape.

5. Chicago P.D.: SVU
Shon wrote, “I’d like to see Chicago P.D.: Sex Crimes Unit or something like that.” Well, here you go, Shon. Ana Ortiz plays the tough-as-nails captain to an elite squad investigating especially heinous sexually-based offenses. Nikki Reed is the young but promising detective on her team who knows when to play the innocent card to her advantage, especially if it means getting away with bending the rules. Her begrudging partner, played by Timothy Olyphant, was once more like her, but is now increasingly cautious.

Gary Kantz suggested this one along with the note, “Case closed.” Indeed.
