Autumn menu comes to seafood restaurant

Catfish Willy's Seafood & Comfort Cuisine has rolled out a limited time menu of fall flavors. On it, look for dishes such as chicken and waffles; a Cowboy Butter Steak, which is a spice-rubbed ribeye with compound butter; apple Bourbon roasted chicken; and seasonal sides such as sweet potato casserole and cinnamon-maple pups.

Harvest Festival

Corpus Christi Healing Gardens at Corpus Christi Catholic Church will host its Harvest Fest on Saturday, Sept. 30 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Come find your fall pumpkins and gourds and enjoy a Chuckwagon sausage burger, homemade baked goods, snow cones, apple cider and other drinks. There will be hayrides, kids' crafts, farm animal petting area, and apple slingshot, quilt raffle, prayer table, photo opportunities and a chance to look at newly constructed outdoor Stations of the Cross, Calvary Crosses and Holy Family Shrine. The third annual chili cook off will be held on Saturday the 30th from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The entry fee is $15. Evansville Farmers Market Saturday

The next monthly Evansville Farmers Market will be Saturday, Sept. 30, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Washington Square Mall. This market's theme is "Grandparents' Day." Visit for fresh produce and other local farm products, honey, baked goods, art and crafts, soap and body products, free health and wellness services and more. Pets welcome. The market is now able to accept SNAP/EBT cards.

Washington Square Mall is at 5001 Washington Ave. The market is in the southwest corner of the mall lot.

National Pancake Day at The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse will celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, Sept. 26, from 9-11 a.m., with mini pancakes, syrup, fruit salad, drinks and more. After breakfast, shop for handmade wares, gifts, clothing, and decor made by American artisans.

The Farmhouse is at 7212 Olmstead Road.

International Food Festival

The Islamic Society of Evansville will host its 20th annual International Food Festival on Sunday, Oct 1, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Thousands stop in every year to take a tour of the Islamic Society building and enjoy specialties including tandoori chicken, tabbouli, falafel, pakoras, shish kebab, and many others. To-go boxes are available.

Neighbors is the new Ghost Quesadilla

The former Ghost Quesadilla has now been rebranded and reopened as Neighbors Sports Bar and Restaurant. On the opening menu are starters such as Buffalo wings, a jumbo soft pretzle with cheese dip, kraut balls with horseradish mayo or ranch for dipping, and others. Smashburgers are served with cheese, lettuce and tomato and may be enhanced with bacon and grilled onions. Other sandwiches include German bologna, grilled or fried chicken, and bratwurst. There are many salads to choose from as well.

Oktoberfest in Henderson

The Henderson Brewing Co. will celebrate its 5th Annual Oktoberfest on Saturday, Sept. 30, from noon until close. The release of the year's Oktoberfest Märzen (mit das Boot) will be accompanied by brats and other essen by Tom's Smokin' Bar-B-Q and traditional German music by Rhein Valley Brass.

Party in Paradise

The Party in Paradise will happen on Saturday, Sept. 30, from 5-10 p.m. in Friedman Park north of Newburgh. Have a fun evening out with food trucks, beer trucks, and live music. Tickets are $10.00 plus fees online. Proceeds benefit the Warrick Parks Foundation and Warrick Trails.

Urban Harvest Party

Urban Seeds will host a Harvest Party on Thursday, Sept. 28, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the lawn of the Trinity United Methodist Church. There will be a pumpkin patch, farm stands, a harvest moon, live music, kids' activities, life music, local food, Urban seeds and Parrela Petite Deli. Proceeds will benefit Urban Seeds and further the mission of developing a local and regional food system that supports farmers and gives all people access to nutritious food.
