'Evan Pryor was gonna be a dog this year too.' OSU loses RB for year | Reactions
Ohio State football will not have as much depth at running back as it expected to have heading into 2022.
Redshirt freshman Evan Pryor is expected to miss the season with a season-ending knee injury.
Last season, Pryor scored his first career touchdown against Akron and averaged 4.7 yards per rush, recording 98 rushing yards on 21 carries across four games.
Ohio State will have three scholarship running backs available heading into the season with TreVeyon Henderson, Miyan Williams and true freshman Dallan Hayden. The Buckeyes also have walk-ons Cayden Saunders, TC Caffey and Chase Brecht on the roster.
Here's a look at reactions to Pryor's injury news.

I’m a big fan of Evan Pryor and was hoping he could build a resume this season even with limited opportunity. This one hurts #devy https://t.co/QlvRlR1v8Z
