Evan Ellingson, “CSI: Miami” and “My Sister's Keeper” actor, dies at 35
The former child actor died in California.
Evan Ellingson, the former child actor who starred on sitcom Complete Savages and film My Sister's Keeper, died Sunday at age 35.
Ellingson was found dead in a bedroom in Fontana, Calif., according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's coroner's division. A cause of death has not yet been determined. Ellingson's father Michael told TMZ, the first to report the news, that he struggled with drugs in the past but was doing better as of late.
EW has reached out to the sheriff's department for comment.
Ellingson had small roles on General Hospital, Mad TV, and Titus before landing a recurring role as Kyle Savage on the 2004 sitcom Complete Savages. He also starred in films The Gristle, Confession,Bondage, Walk the Talk, and most recently, 2009's My Sister's Keeper opposite Abigail Breslin, Cameron Diaz, and Alec Baldwin. Other recent TV roles included Bones, 24, and State of Mind.
