The actress, 49, responded to Gosling’s deadpan reaction at the awards ceremony on Sunday by sharing a GIF of the hilarious moment on her Instagram account.

The moment saw Gosling, 43, appearing stunned and raising his eyebrows as he reacted to the news that his Barbie movie song “I’m Just Ken” had won best song at the annual ceremony.

The actor also jokingly shook his head in disbelief as he stood up to applaud the power ballad’s writers Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt as they took the stage to accept the award from presenters Bella Ramsey and Anthony Ramos.

Music producer Ronson, 48, then went on to address Gosling in the audience and noted, “Ryan Gosling, this is as much your award as ours. You made the audience fall in love with this song with your matchless performance, so thank you."

Mendes’ Instagram post comes after Gosling praised his partner at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Saturday night.

As Gosling was honored with the Kirk Douglas Award for Excellence in Film at the festival, he gave a shoutout to Mendes and their two daughters — Esmeralda Amada, 9, and Amada Lee, 7 — during his acceptance speech.

Explaining how his job as an actor has allowed him to portray different roles throughout his career, Gosling added, "Most importantly, I got to meet the girl of my dreams, Eva Mendes, and have two dream children."

"I dreamed of one day making movies, and now, movies have made my life a dream," he continued.
