Eva Marcille Forced To Disable Instagram Comments After Body-Shaming

Eva Marcille isn’t here for the negative comments about her body on Instagram. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently caused quite a stir after posting a series of photos to the popular social media app. In the three-slide post, Eva, who was sporting a bow top with striped pants, grabbed some users’ attention because of her slimmed-down appearance.

“Idk, maybe it’s crack, maybe it’s Maybelline,” one commenter wrote, with others hinting at Ozempic and stress from her divorce. If you need a reminder, Eva filed for divorce from Michael Sterling in March 2023.

“This has been one of the hardest decisions I have ever had to make, but sometimes life takes your journey in a direction you were not expecting,” Eva said. “Our children remain our biggest priority, and the eight and half years we have spent together will always be cherished. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.”

The longer Eva’s picture remained online, the more negative comments flooded her inbox. “Lord, whatever Eva is going through, please help guide her and her children. We are losing way too many of us too soon,” they wrote.

Shortly after, Eva turned off the comments on her Instagram post. However, before signing off, she acknowledged one user’s comment about jumping to conclusions.

“Please remember Chadwick [Boseman], and watch what you say. Showing love is easier than spewing negativity,” the poster wrote. It clearly resonated with the actress, who replied with a heart emoticon.
