Maternity leave is over for Eva Longoria.

Over the weekend, the actress returned to work for the first time after welcoming her first child, son Santiago, on June 19. She participated in a press day for the family-friendly film — then got glammed up to attend Sunday’s premiere of the flick in Los Angeles, walking the carpet with co-stars Vanessa Hudgens and Nina Dobrev.

Longoria, who just gave the world a peek at her new man in Hola magazine, wore a white jacket dress for the occasion that was low-cut and showed some leg. She had on red lipstick, but that new mom glow was all natural.

But being back to work didn’t feel quite so natural just yet. At the premiere, the Desperate Housewives alum told Us Weekly, “I’ve been with him 24/7 since he was born. Being here at work, that’s probably the most difficult thing. Leaving him for four hours. I’m like, ‘What?!’”

She said that she’d be taking a break from the premiere “to go and pump” breast milk. Then, as soon as her work obligations were fulfilled, she said, “I’m going to be running back to him tonight.” The infant was being cared for by a baby nurse.

On Saturday, while doing press for the film, Longoria — who is married to businessman Jose “Pepe” Baston — told Entertainment Tonight that she’s had no self-doubts about motherhood so far. She said she’s learned loads from the women in her life, including Kerry Washington — who she said was “practically her doula” — as well as her mom, her mother-in-law, and the baby’s nurse. She says she’d also been a mom “to so many in my life already — my nieces, my nephews, girls through my foundation.”

Longoria said, “I just have this amazing community of women around me that have really helped me transition into motherhood, and I think you need that.”

But now — like other moms out there returning to work after having a baby — she’s just trying to figure it all out.

“Now comes the part where, as I start returning back to work slowly, [I’m asking], ‘How do you balance it all?'” said Longoria. She said that before having a child, “Everybody used to [ask] me, ‘How do you do it all? You do so many things. And I was just like, ‘Because I don’t have kids.’ I mean, every project was my baby — and now I actually have a baby.”
