Esquire Orders ‘Joyride’ Series With Mischa Barton From ‘Car Matchmaker’ Producers

Esquire Network is staying with the car theme, ordering six half-hour episodes of Joyride from the team behind the popular Car Matchmaker franchise. It’s set to premiere November 15 at 10 PM on Esquire.

Hosted by rapper T-Pain, professional race car driver Brian Vickers, The OC alumna Mischa Barton and actor Oliver Trevena, each episode will feature the four celebrity auto fanatics as they go on a quest to find the best of new and vintage cars. They will put their passionate opinions and personal driving skills to the test as they take the wheels of four beautiful, unique and aspirational cars, and ultimately choose a winner at the end of each episode.

Car categories will include: Best Classic Truck, Best British Car, Best 80s Car, Best Car for a First Time Driver, Best Muscle Car of the 1960s and Best Midlife Crisis Car.

Joyride is produced by Critical Content with Tom Forman, Jon Beyer, Ellen Rakieten and Tony Yates serving as executive producers.
