Erika Jayne's husband Tom Girardi asks court to terminate spousal support, reports say

Erika Jayne's husband Tom Girardi has responded to her divorce filing, according to documents obtained by People, Us Weekly and Entertainment Tonight.
The outlets report the documents were filed to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Nov. 25 and contain Girardi's request to terminate the court's ability to award spousal support to Jayne. He has also requested his attorney fees be paid by his estranged wife.
Their date of separation is listed as "to be determined" and the reason for the split is listed as "irreconcilable differences," according to the outlets.
The "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star and performer, who goes by the stage name Erika Jayne, announced the end of their marriage in early November.
"After much consideration I have decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi. This is not a step taken lightly or easily." Jayne told USA TODAY at the time in a statement provided by her representative Jack Ketsoyan. "I have great love and respect for Tom and for our years and the lives we built together."
Jayne, 49, who has been married to Girardi, 81, for 21 years, asked for privacy during their separation.
The pair, who are best known for appearing on the Bravo reality show have been accused of a "sham" divorce announcement in order to protect themselves against a lawsuit for allegedly embezzling funds meant for families of the victims of the fatal 2018 Lion Air plane crash.
The two were accused of announcing their divorce as a "sham attempt to fraudulently protect Tom’s and Erika’s money from those that seek to collect on debts owed by Tom and his law firm," according to legal documents obtained by USA TODAY filed by Chicago law firm Edelson PC.
