Erika Jayne Reveals the Advice Her Son, Tommy, Gave Her Before Her Las Vegas Residency

On Bravo’s special two-part documentary, Erika Jayne: Bet It All on Blonde, which aired on March 6, viewers followed Erika Jayne's journey as she prepared for the opening night of her Las Vegas residency.

During Erika’s month-long rehearsal, she experienced many hiccups, which included dealing with Tom Girardi’s personal issues and failed budget negotiations for the show. In those tough times, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ mom prevailed thanks to words of encouragement she received from her son, Tommy.

Erika Jayne’s son, Tommy, gave her advice before Bet It All On Blonde residency

While having a candid discussion with a producer on the series, Erika revealed that she had a vulnerable conversation with her adult son where she confided to him about things getting tough in life as she neared her performance date.

“I talked to my son, and I was like, you know I didn’t want to do this,” Erika admitted. She continued by sharing that Tommy gave her some positive advice and urged her not to give up.

“He’s like, ‘That’s great, but here’s what you’re going to do, you’re going to dig your heels in, and you’re going to fight like a motherf-cker, and you’re going to show everyone that they were wrong and you were right,” Erika said of her son’s pep talk. “Then we can have this conversation after that. But until then, you’re going to fight.”

After filming the Bet It All On Blonde documentary, Erika spoke with The Daily Dish, where she gave an update on how her only child is doing. "He's great," she said. "He's really good."

Erika also mentioned that Tommy, who has a career in law enforcement, , hasn’t shared with her if he wants to have kids. "We've never discussed that," she admitted. "I don't think that's part of his journey."

Tommy isn’t the only special guy in Erika’s life, as she has formed a tight-knit bond with her longtime creative director and best friend, Mikey Minden.

As fans will recall, Mikey has appeared on RHOBH several times to assist Erika with her fabulous looks and creative direction whenever taking the stage. In fact, he appeared on the Season 13 finale of RHOBH to help Erika prepare for Kyle Richards’ White Party.
