Erie County restaurant inspections for June 15-July 6, 2023

At least once a year, Erie County Department of Health officials inspect all restaurants and stores that sell unpackaged food. Here is a list of violations recorded June 15 through Thursday.

2 critical violations

Sander's Market, 109 W. Main St., North East Boro. (Food observed that is slimy to the touch/spoiled/moldy and is adulterated. Also no sanitizer being used to wash equipment and utensils) Also, 5 noncritical violations. June 22

One critical violation

Sonic, 5800 Peach St., Millcreek Township. (Mop sink faucet is leaking.) Also two noncritical violations. June 29

Casablanca Grill, 2174 W. Eighth St. (Accumulation of mouse droppings were found under the prep table and three compartment sink.) Also one critical violation. July 5
