Erica Ash To Star In Indie Pic ‘Singleholic’; Stephen Bishop Joins Cast

Erica Ash (Survivor’s Remorse) is set to star in the indie romance Singleholic, based on the novel of the same name by Katharine Bing.

Bryan Barber is attached to direct the pic which follows Sarah Wilcox (Ash), who wakes up on the morning of her 35th birthday and decides she wants to settle down and get married, so she goes on a series of hilarious dating encounters.

Stephen Bishop has also joined the cast and will play Michael Webb, a charming and successful businessman who meets Sarah at a time when she would like to find love.

Katherine Birbalsingh adapted the screenplay and Milan Selassie is producing the film, which is currently in production in Mauritius, East Africa. Cassian Elwes is overseeing sales.

Ash currently stars in BET’s new drama series In Contempt, and her next big-screen appearance will be in Lionsgate’s summer comedy film Uncle Drew with Lil Rel Howery, Nick Kroll and Tiffany Haddish.

Ash is repped by APA, AGS Media and Del Shaw Moonves.

Bishop, whose credits include Bravo’s Imposters and BET’s Being Mary Jane, is repped by Greene & Associates Talent Agency and Weiner Management.
