FALL RIVER — The busy fall season continues at Narrows Center for the Arts with a variety of diverse concerts and events in November.

From nationally acclaimed acts to local favorites, there is something for everyone to enjoy:

Thursday, Nov. 2: Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes

They emerged from the New Jersey shore scene in 1974, and though they carried over a significant influence (and some key personnel) from Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, the Jukes evolved as more of a white R&B horn band in the Memphis Stax Records tradition.

Friday, Nov. 3: Eric Lindell

A New Orleans-based singer/songwriter and guitarist/multi-instrumentalist, he melds West Coast rock, swampy Gulf Coast R&B, hard country, and Memphis soul in a hybrid American roots music that, while thoroughly respectful of traditions, blazes a trail of its own.

Saturday, Nov. 4: Duke Robillard

He has carved out one of the Blues' most illustrious legacies. He founded Roomful Of Blues with pianist Al Copley in 1967. He replaced Jimmie Vaughan in The Fabulous Thunderbirds in 1990. He recorded on Dylan’s “Time Out Of Mind” and later toured with him. He also has toured with Tom Waits and Robert Gordon.

Friday, Nov. 10: Manel The Island Man

Tapas, wine tasting and music hosted by Michael Benevides. Hailing from Sao Miguel, Azores, Luso-American rocker Manel (The Island Man, Manel Dos D’Alma, Manuel Placido), infuses the cultural elegance of Portuguese heritage with free-spirited rock and roll.

Friday, Nov. 17: Anders Osborne

His six-string virtuosity, inventive musicality, and poetic songcraft underpin an ever-expanding three-decade catalog celebrated by fans and critics alike. As a sought-after studio talent, his writing resounds through Keb Mo’s Grammy Award-winning Slow Down, Tim McGraw’s number one “Watch The Wind Blow By,” and covers by Brad Paisley, Jonny Lang, Edwin McCain, Aaron Neville, and more.

Saturday, Nov. 18: Fantastic Cat

Four different songwriters joined forces to form a single band. Fantastic Cat defied the odds and teamed up to record their highly unanticipated debut, "The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat." Captured in the wilds of the Pocono Mountains, the album gleefully careens between genres and decades, mixing electrified 60’s folk and 70’s AM radio gold with 80’s heartland rock and 90’s alt-country.

Sunday, Nov. 19: 8th Annual Music of Michael Troy Concert

The eighth annual Music of Michael Troy will be performed by top local and regional artists. There will be live performances by Joan Akin, Johnny Botelho, Matt Borello, Mary Zema, Tom Smith, Chuck Williams, Louis Leeman, Redfish, a duo of Gary Fish w/ Steve Redfern, the Laureanno Bros, a trio of Mike, Tom & Frank, and a quintet from Durfee High School featuring faculty members Gary Bigelow and Matt Desmarais with Tom Khoury, Justin Gallagher, Jason Newell.

Friday, Nov. 24: Roomful of Blues

Even though Roomful of Blues’ lineup has changed over the years, the band has always been one of the tightest, most joyful blues ensembles in the world. Currently, an eight-piece unit led by guitarist Chris Vachon, the band has never sounded fresher or stronger. Singer Phil Pemberton brings his sweet and soulful vocals and adds another bright new dimension to the jazzy, jump-blues musical roots.

Saturday, Nov. 25: Neal McCarthy Electric Band

"Jamsgiving" full band for the first time at the Narrows! For over 30 years, Neal McCarthy has been at the forefront of the regional music scene. Neal doesn't play the music, he channels it.

Thursday, Nov. 30: Gary Hoey’s Ho Ho Hoey Rockin’ Holiday Tour

For over 25 years of the Ho Ho Hoey Rockin’ Holiday Tour, this must see show has become a tradition with radio stations and families coast-to-coast for adults and kids alike. Gary Hoey has been a driving force behind instrumental rock Christmas music since 1995 after his version of “The Twelve Days Of Christmas” hit the airwaves with its crunchy guitars and metal flavor.
