Eric Dane’s mistake on the set of 'Saved by the Bell'

Before Eric Dane was McSteamy on Grey’s Anatomy, he was Tad, the rival volleyball player on Saved by the Bell. Dane visited Live With Kelly and Ryan and shared tales about his first acting gig on the popular 1990s show.

However, he didn’t have the smoothest shoot. Like Zack Morris was able to stop time in the show, Dane tried to stop production. He said that he didn’t like his take so he called out, “Cut! We gotta do this again. Can I get another one?”

For anyone who hasn’t been on a TV set, an actor calling cut is a major faux pas. Dane said that the director of the episode chewed him out, saying, “Nobody on this set yells cut except for me.”

Dane joked, “That was the last time I did Saved by the Bell.”
