This Epic Superstore Reunion Will Have You Floating on Cloud 9 — PHOTO

Nearly three years since NBC shuttered Cloud 9, the Superstore crew is reconvening.

In an Instagram post on Wednesday, cast member Colton Dunn (aka Garrett) revealed (with accompanying photo evidence; see below) that nearly the entire ensemble reunited this week for dinner at Los Angeles-based Mexican eatery Mirate.

In addition to Dunn, alums in attendance included Ben Feldman (Jonah), Lauren Ash (Dina), Nico Santos (Mateo), Nichole Sakura (Cheyenne), Kaliko Kauahi (Sandra) and Mark McKinney (Glenn) — essentially every series regular with the exception of leading lady America Ferrera. Also present and accounted for: recurring guest stars Jon Barinholtz (Marcus), Irene White (Carol) and Kelly Schumann (Justine), as well as series creator Justin Spitzer.

“Sometimes I miss this show,” Dunn wrote in the caption. “All times I miss these people.” The actor also included the following quote from his Superstore alter ego’s series-ending monologue: “If you’re lucky, maybe you even get to be friends with a coworker or two along the way. I’m not sure what else you could want in a job.”

Superstore ended its six-season NBC run in March 2021. The network had been developing spinoff centered on Sakura’s Cheyenne and Johnny Pemberton’s Bo, but the project did not ultimately move forward.
