Late entertainment reporter Sam Rubin's death certificate has been released nearly two weeks after his sudden passing.

Rubin's death sent a shockwave through Hollywood. He was known and beloved by several A-list stars he had interviewed over the years.

Rubin's death certificate was recently released, confirming information surrounding his passing. According to the document obtained by The Blast, Rubin's place of death is listed as UCLA West Valley Medical Center.

TMZ previously claimed that Rubin suffered a heart attack at his home and was then rushed to a hospital, where he eventually passed away.

However, his official cause of death has yet to be confirmed, and it presently states "deferred" on the death certificate, just as it was listed by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office. The reporter's autopsy has been completed, but the investigation into his cause of death is still ongoing.

KTLA network announced the shocking news of Rubin's passing on social media in a heartfelt message: "KTLA 5 is profoundly saddened to report the death of Sam Rubin."

The statement continued: "Sam was a giant in the local news industry and the entertainment world and a fixture of Los Angeles morning television for decades."

"His laugh, charm, and caring personality touched all who knew him. Sam was a loving husband and father, the roles he cherished the most. Our thoughts are with Sam's family during this difficult time," the statement concluded.

Morning anchor Frank Buckley also expressed his disbelief over Rubin's death, stating, "We don't know what happened, but it was sudden."

Rubin's tragic passing, the season KTLA news anchor shared his final interview on his social media platforms.

His last interview featured actress Jane Seymour, and the pair talked about her latest Netflix film, "Irish Wish." During the conversation, Seymour reminisced about filming in Ireland, while Rubin delved into her experiences in Dublin and her upcoming show on AcornTV, "Harry Wild."

Seymour later shared a tribute, mourning Rubin with a picture of them from the interview.

In the caption, she noted: "It's hard to believe that just yesterday I was with @samontv. I'm deeply saddened by the news of his passing. He was consistently kind, happy, and always ready to offer assistance with any project I was a part of. You will be missed, Sam."

Rubin was known and loved by several Hollywood stars, so it was no surprise to see the outpouring of love he received following the news of his death.

On X (formerly Twitter), actor Ben Stiller paid tribute to Rubin, writing, "So sad and sorry to hear of Sam Rubin's passing. Consummate pro. I did my first interview with him in something like '93, and countless times over the years. He loved actors and movies. He made everyone feel comfortable and it was always fun and easy. He was an institution. We have lost him way too soon. Sending love to his family."

Actress Octavia Spencer sent her condolences, stating, "So sad to learn that we've lost Sam Rubin. It was always a pleasure to see him and to be in his presence. My condolences to his family and fans."

Selma Blair also paid tribute to Rubin: "You were first on air interview, and one of my last. I feel so fortunate to have watched you and known you for so many years. Oh, Sam!
