Entertainment options: Inclusive Candy Cane Hunt, Santa's reindeer visit and concerts

Seek out some sweets at the Inclusive Candy Cane Hunt. Sponsored by the Guernsey County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Santa has hidden candy canes in Cambridge City Park and they need help finding them. Children of all ages and abilities are invited to search the park for sweet treats. Santa Claus will be making a special appearance. Hot cocoa and doughnut holes will be provided. Donations of unwrapped presents will also be accepted for the Guernsey County Secret Santa program. The candy cane hunt is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. Saturday. Cambridge City Park is located at 1203 N. Eighth St., Cambridge.

Holiday concert

Get in the spirit at the Meadowbrook High School holiday concert. Join the talented students at Meadowbrook High School as they perform their annual free holiday concert. The event is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14 in the high school auditorium. Enjoy performances by the symphonic band, concert choir and the Brook Singers. Toy drive at CPAC

CPAC Toys for Tots Concert returns for another show. The Cambridge Performing Arts Center has partnered with the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Toys for Tots to present a holiday concert, A Night of Music. Numerous local acts will be performing during the event. Admission is $12, or $5 with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy. The show is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. For more information call 740-785-1400. The Cambridge Performing Arts Center is located 642 Wheeling Ave., Cambridge.

Visit Santa's helpers

Santa's reindeer are coming to town. Do you want to keep it a little closer to home for the holidays? Head to the Caldwell Square and give your children the chance to visit with two of Santa's very own reindeer from 5 to 7 p.m. Hot cocoa will also be available for purchase, and, rumor has it, Santa Claus may drop by to check in on his reindeer. Caldwell Courthouse Lawn, Caldwell.

Country concert

Country music legend Neal McCoy will be performing at the Secrest Auditorium and Music Hall with Casee Allen. The show is sure to be a blast, as McCoy is known for hits such as "The Shake," "Wink," and "If I Was a Drinkin' Man." Tickets start at $30 but hurry, as pit seats are already sold out. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the Secrest Auditorium website. Doors open at 6 p.m., with Casee Allen performing at 7:30 p.m. and McCoy taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. For more information call 740-454-6851.
