MLK Summer Festival

Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Food, concession stand, funnel cakes, games, and lots of prizes. sponsored by the Martin Luther King Center of Erie. Includes a 3-point contest and a free-throw challenge held in the center's gym. Outside will be games, prizes, obstacle courses, food, snow cones, cotton candy, popcorn, and funnel cakes. Erie Roller Derby vs. WestCo Roller Derby

Saturday, 6:30 to 8 p.m., Bayfront Convention Center, 1 Sassafras Pier. Your Erie Roller Derby All-Stars will take on WestCo Derby out of Mount Pleasant, Pa. Pre-sale tickets are $10 from your ERD All-Star skater or online. Tickets at the door are $15. Kids 10 and under are free.

Lake Erie Cyclefest 2023

Lake Erie Cyclefest Presque Isle Sunrise Ride will take place on July 30, and begins at 6:15 a.m. at the Beach 1 Pavilion. Registrants have the ability to tour and climb the Presque Isle Lighthouse from 6-8 a.m., and receive a ticket to the Discover PI pancake breakfast at the Rotary Pavilion after completing their ride.
