Enchant Christmas light maze at Tropicana Field selling tickets already

We may be in the thick of Halloween season, but tickets for Enchant Christmas at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg are already on sale, and your best version of a Christmas song could win you some prizes.

In addition to what they call the word’s largest light maze, this year brings a new installation called Reindeer Games.

“In this story, forest animal friends of Santa’s reindeer thought it would be fun to fly Santa’s sleigh for a mischievous moment. So they hatched a plan to get the reindeer’s magic bells — and it worked! Help us find the magic bells in time to save Christmas!” event organizers said.

Enchant also announced that it is looking for guests to submit their best holiday song rendition. To enter, you have to submit a video recording performing an iteration of a known Christmas song or an original holiday song.

Winners get $1,000 cash and an all-expenses-paid opportunity to record their song with a producer at a professional studio. Four runners-up will win $500 cash and have their music featured across Enchant’s social channels. The deadline is Nov. 14. Submit your video at enchantchristmas.com/holiday-song-competition/.

In addition to the light maze, there will be a Christmas Village of tiny shops with specialty crafts and boutiques. There’s also an Ice Skating Trail for an extra charge, visits with Santa, holiday goodies and drinks, and the Little Elves Play Place, where kids can make ornaments or gather for story time.

The event opens Nov. 24 and runs through Dec. 31 at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg. Tickets start at $34 for adults, $25 for age 3-17 at enchantchristmas.com.
