Empowered coffee takes pride in hiring people with special needs. The overall mission is to creating meaningful jobs and a friendly environment. Empowered coffee was founded by Jonathan and Kim Davis. This establishment also donates proceeds to multiple organizations.

JOHN DAVIS: It's important to note that from day one, this has been created to not be a charity. It was created with charitable intentions. We are going to donate our profits. But from day one, our team has understood that if we're paying taxes because we're profitable, that's a win. Our team runs this entire facility by themselves. That's what you're going to see when you come here. And I think for a lot of people, it's changed their minds about what is possible.
