'Empire' Recap: Granny Gets Her Gun

On Empire, Anika was in more hot water with the Lyons since Tariq had subpoenaed her to testify against Cookie in a court of law with the hopes of finally bringing their Empire down. After being on the run, Anika returned to Luscious' house only to find her daughter, Bella missing and Luscious and Cookie circling her like an injured gazelle. Though Anika told Cookie that she hadn't snitched on her, Luscious was wondering why they shouldn't just kill her right then and there but Anika plead her case, quickly telling them that her plan was to seduce Tariq while wearing a wire. They could use that against him so the case would be dropped for good. But Grandma Lea didn't seem too convinced when she emerged from the shadows wielding Cookie's gun. Fortunately for Anika, Grandma didn't pull the trigger and the Lyons gave her the chance to begin her deceitful seduction.
