The final eight semifinalists were revealed during Tuesday's episode of The Voice, but when it came down to the Instant Save round, during which Team Kelly's Jeremy Rosado, Team Ariana's Holly Forbes and Team Legend's Jershika Maple had to perform for America's live votes, it got a little emotional.

Jershika, who struggled with dyslexia as a child and until recently was working full-time as a security guard to make ends meet, was reduced to tears as she spoke to her coach following her tour de force. “Thank you. This show really saved me,” she told him. “I have never been so free. I fell in love with music even more. Tonight I fought, and when you fight, it's in God's hands.” Jershika, who has delivered such stunning performances that she's even brought Kelly Clarkson to tears, wasn't the only contestant who got emotional Tuesday.

Holly also began to cry, when telling her coach Ariana Grande, "I'm crying. You gave me another shot in the Knockouts and you've really changed my life in so many ways." A weepy Ariana Grande exclaimed, “I have to say, this is the craziest… How is this the three? I don't understand.”

Viewers were also shocked that these three powerhouse singers were the bottom three vote-getters, and got pretty worked up on Twitter over the fact that two of them were going to be sent home. One person tweeted: "I can’t believe I have to vote between Jeremy, Holly and Jershika. This is WRONG." (@moonlightsouls)

In the end, only one artist could take the final spot in the top eight and, ultimately, it was Team Legend's Jershika, who was saved by America.
