Emmys 2016 Red Carpet: Stars Talk Their Favorite TV Shows
On the 2016 Emmys red carpet, some of the biggest names in television shared with us their favorite shows of all time and what shows they’re watching now. Academy Award winner John Voight, of Ray Donovan, said his favorite show of all time is The Sid Caesar Show. He also said it’s partly why he wanted to be an actor.
Kevin Dunn, from the Showtime series Veep, said his favorite show of all time is The Twilight Zone. He even has a favorite episode. Vincent De Paul, Father Leone on The Bay, said his favorite show is Friends, and he even had a fanboy moment when he found out David Schwimmer was nearby.
We also asked some of the stars which television character they would like to have played, if they’d had the chance. That’s when Mr. Robot star Christian Slater dropped the best answer of the night: Captain Kirk from Star Trek. Awesome.
