Emmys: 'Mrs. Maisel,' 'Versace,' 'Barry,' and 'Game of Thrones' among big winners

As the 70th annual Primetime Emmy Awards were handed out on Monday night, Amazon’s Mrs. Maisel proved to be quite marvelous by grabbing gold five times, including for best comedy series.

FX’s The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story followed with four major wins, including for limited series lead actor Darren Criss.

Game of Thrones, The Crown, Barry, The Americans, and Godless each scored two Monday-night wins.

And in the slugfest of outlets, Netflix and HBO each wound up amassing 23 Emmy wins this year, after the streamer edged out the pay cabler in total nominations.
