Emmerdale spoilers: Faith attacks Cain with a frying pan

Naomi feels the wrath of the village on Emmerdale next week, Faith’s condition deteriorates, while Sandra ensures that Liv falls off the wagon.

Will Naomi hand herself in?

Harriet has bad news for Nicola: they don’t have enough evidence to prosecute Naomi, who still hasn’t come clean about her involvement in the attack.

Deciding to take matters into her own hands, Nicola then threatens to end both Charles and Manpreet’s careers should Naomi not come forward with the truth.

Added pressure for Naomi then comes from an angry Nate, who confronts her about the assault and her lies. Naomi pleads with Nate for him to see the real her, but he’s adamant. They’re done. Though, following the break-up, Nate does start to wonder whether he’s been too harsh.

Finally, Rodney castigates Ethan for supporting Naomi. But as Nicola’s PTSD resurfaces, can Ethan convince Naomi to do the right thing and go to the police?

Faith’s confusion puts Cain under threat

Faith feels that she’s being robbed of control over her own life, what with her now not being able to see her grandchildren without supervision. So she ends up surprising Kyle and Sarah in secret with a chameleon that she’s stolen from the vets’.

But when the chameleon escapes and joins Al at the Woolpack bar, Chas and Cain are left shaking their heads in consternation at their mum’s latest stunt.

Tormented Faith then leaves Chas stung when she reveals that Cain should have lasting power of attorney after she opts for a DNR. But while going over her dying wishes later on, the anguish causes a confused Faith to believe that Cain is Shadrach – and she ends up brandishing a frying pan and yelling at him to get away from her.

Sandra’s twisted plot

The next stage of Sandra’s horrible scheme will see her planning to disrupt Liv’s sobriety by switching her soft drink for a boozy one. And when Liv does take a sip and realise what she’s done, she frets that the door has been reopened on her alcoholism.

Vinny is also left reeling by what’s happened, while Mandy is alarmed to hear that Liv has inadvertently taken a drink. Fuelling her daughter’s insecurities, Sandra then suggests that the two of them take a last-minute trip abroad. But with Liv ignorant of her mum’s true intentions, is she destined to hit rock bottom again?

Al tells Chas that he loves her

It’s all getting even more intense for Al who, while lying in bed with Chas, confesses his love for her.

It’s a disclosure that results in a scared Chas making a hasty retreat. But later on, Al once again reaffirms his love and swears that his words weren’t spoken in the heat of the moment. And sensing his genuine affection, Chas starts to fall for him further.

Mack shares his secret

Mack is looking guilty as he receives another message from a mystery number telling him that their secret is safe.

His anxiety growing, Mack then confides in Nate about what he’s done. But what will a shaken Nate do with the information that Mack has cheated on Charity with someone local?
