Emma Watson Uses This Non-Traditional Term To Describe Her Relationship Status

Emma Watson has grown up a lot since her "Harry Potter" days, she attended Brown University and became an activist and UN ambassador. But fans and Hollywood are still clamoring for details about her personal life, more specifically, her love life.

Watson has identified her relationship status as "self-partnered" because she thinks it is a better term than "single."The actress sat down with Paris Lees for Vogue while promoting the upcoming release of "Little Women."

“I never believed the whole ‘I’m happy single’ spiel,” Emma told Vogue. “I was like, ‘This is totally spiel.’ It took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]. I call it being self-partnered.”

The actress has been linked to a few people in the past and there were rumors that she even had a relationship with her "Harry Potter" co-star, Tom Felton but she confirmed that she is not seeing anyone romantically right now and she is really happy.

The interview also revealed that the actress does stress out about things like getting older. She opened up about her fear of turning 30 this April. Emma expressed that she “had all these ideas” about what her life was going to look like at that age but has come to terms with the fact that it did not all go as planned.

“I was like, ‘Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal…’” the actress said. “Cut to 29, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious. And I realise it’s because there is suddenly this bloody influx of subliminal messaging around."

Watson continued, "If you have not built a home, if you do not have a husband, if you do not have a baby, and you are turning 30, and you’re not in some incredibly secure, stable place in your career, or you’re still figuring things out… There’s just this incredible amount of anxiety.”

Super Stoked To Work With Meryl Streep and Laura Dern

Emma also said that working on "Little Women" gave her great pleasure because she was working with some very accomplished actresses and activists.“What was really nice about working with Laura Dern and Meryl Streep was that the three of us knew each other way before we did Little Women. We met in activist spaces, so we had this allyship and solidarity as activists that had been part of a certain movement before we ever worked together.”

"Little Women" airs on December 26th through the 28th on BBC One.

Tom Felton Rumors

It may have been wishful thinking but the rumors that Emma and Tom were dating were fueled by a post the Draco Malfoy actor shared on social media.Tom posted a snap of him giving a guitar lesson to Emma while the two were in South Africa. "Quick learner x," Felton captioned his post.

Fans were quick to express how much they would love it if the two linked up romanticly. One fan commented on his post, "Dramione for life," which is a clever way to combine their character's name.

Too bad for fans the actress is not caught up in the drama.
