A Close Cast

In a move that is sure to have Harry Potter fans reaching for their butterbeer, Emma Watson shared a holiday photo with her fellow Hogwarts graduates Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy), Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood), Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley), and Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom).

Watson captioned the photo "Merry Christmas from us," while Felton posted a full color version saying "Seasons greetings from my school mates. @mattdavelewis & I mid debate x #gryfindorVSslytherin."

Apparently Hogwarts house pride lasts forever and the rivalry between Gryffindor and Slytherin will never die.

Friendships Forged On Set

Sadly, Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint weren't at the celebration, but it is still lovely to see these castmates hanging out after all of these years.

From the sound of things, they do their best to keep in touch, even though life has pulled them all in different directions. Watson explained in 2017 while promoting Beauty and the Beast that there is a pretty epic group chat that they share.

"We actually have a group WhatsApp, which I invited everyone really from the main cast from Harry Potter to come to the screening.

It's kind of like Pokémon. I'm trying to catch them all right now. I've got Bonnie [Wright] and Dan left. You know, we're all spread all over the globe. It's a case of trying to, like, get people into the right places, but I feel very supported by my old co-stars."

A Childhood Spark

Watson and Felton have remained particularly close, inspiring a lot of speculation from fans over whether they're dating.

Co-star Rupert Grint didn't help things when he described them as kids on set.

"Yeah, I could. There was always something. There was a little bit of a spark. I don't want to start anything ... but we were kids. It was like any kind of playground romance."

However, Watson recently made headlines when she described her relationship status as "self-partnered."

"I never believed the whole ‘I’m happy single’ spiel. was like, ‘This is totally spiel.’ It took me a long time, but I’m very happy (being single). I call it being self-partnered."

Hogwarts Forever

To his credit, Felton agreed with Watson's description.

"I like it! It’s the first I’ve heard of it, but it’s great. I’m in the same category, to be honest with you, quite happily self-partnered. I think in this day and age it’s not a necessity to be with someone just for the sake of being with someone, so I like the idea of self-partnering."

Romantic or not, it's always heartwarming to see the Harry Potter cast reunite.
