Emma Watson and Ellen Play a Hidden Camera Prank on Would-Be Nanny
Beauty and the Beast star Emma Watson joined up with Ellen DeGeneres to play a prank on an unsuspecting victim. DeGeneres communicated with Watson through an earpiece, telling her everything to do and say. The premise: Watson was interviewing a prospective nanny … for herself. The similarity to Corinne from The Bachelor was not lost on the interviewee.
DeGeneres did her best to mess with the victim, while Watson did her best to keep a straight face, and she did it surprisingly well. Whether she was laughing maniacally or crying because she has an “owie” on her finger, Watson barely broke character. Watson did, however, break from her real-life persona when DeGeneres made her act like a spoiled actress and throw her phone to the ground in reaction to a text she didn’t like.
