Emma Stone Reveals Where She’s Keeping Her 2024 Golden Globes Statues (Exclusive)

Stone exclusively revealed her plans to PEOPLE at the season one finale of 'The Curse' on Monday

Emma Stone is keeping her two new Golden Globes close to home.

On Sunday, Stone, 35, won best film actress in a comedy or musical at the 2024 Golden Globes for her role in Poor Things and picked up a second award for producing the movie when it won the award for best picture in a musical or comedy.

Speaking to PEOPLE at the Los Angeles screening of The Curse season one finale on Monday (which she also stars in and produced), she revealed that her new awards would be “going back home to New York.”

“They might be on an airplane. Shaking. Scared. Unaware of where they are. All alone. Confused,” adds Stone, who attended Monday's event with costars, Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. “But I hope they’re all right."

In Poor Things, Stone reunited with director Yorgos Lanthimos and writer Tony McNamara for a follow-up film to their Oscar-winning film The Favourite.

The movie sees her play Bella Baxter, a woman given a clean slate in life via an experimental procedure from scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Once she's reborn, Bella gradually discovers the wonders — and dangers — of the world and her own sexual awakening.

When receiving her first award on Sunday, the actress celebrated the role played in her own life by her husband, Dave McCary whom she married in 2020. The couple also share a 2-year-old daughter, Louise Jean.

"This is amazing, thank you. Dave, I have to start with you really quickly," she said at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. "I love you very much. Thank you for everything!"

Stone then thanked her Poor Things castmates Mark Ruffalo, Ramy Youssef and Dafoe, 68, for making "every day an absolute joy" on the film's set, and the "incredible" crew that helped bring the project to life.

"Tony, this is our third time working together. Tony, our writer," she continued. "I love getting to say this dialogue, and I love getting to horrify you with my Australian accent. You're the best Tony."

Of director Lanthimos, 50, Stone said, "Yorgos, I don't know what I could say to you that I haven't said to you already. But I will forever be grateful that we met. Forever. And playing Bella was unbelievable."

Lanthimos also returned the gratitude after Poor Things won best picture when he gave a special shout-out to acting winner Stone, whom he called "the best."

Poor Things is currently in theaters. The Curse season 1 finale airs on Sunday at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
