There’s a whole lot of slapping, dancing, freaking out, and reckless driving in the new teaser for Yorgos Lanthimosupcoming movie Kinds of Kindness, which is set to hit select theaters on June 21.

The new clip for the film doesn’t offer, well, anything in the way of plot, but it is a tantalizing look at the film’s absolutely stacked cast. Emma Stone is doing some seriously reckless driving, as is Jesse Pelmons, who’s also getting slapped in the face by Margaret Qualley. Set to the Eurythmics’ “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),” the teaser also offers glimpses of Willem Dafoe, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, and Hunter Schafer.

For those interested in at least some semblance of what the movie is about, a new summary describes Kinds of Kindness as a “triptych fable.” One story follows a “man without a choice who tries to take control of his own life.” In another, a policeman grows alarmed after his wife, who was missing at sea, returns and appears to be a different person. And in the last, a woman is on the hunt for a very particular person with a special ability she’s convinced is “destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”

Kinds of Kindness is Lanthimos’ follow-up to last year’s Poor Things, which took home numerous creative Oscars — Best Production Design, Costume Design, and Makeup and Hairstyling — as well as Best Actress for Stone. Dafoe and Qualley also appeared in Poor Things, while Alwyn previously worked with Lanthimos on 2018’s The Favourite (as did Stone).

Along with reuniting with several actors he’s worked with before, Lanthimos reconnected with the Greek writer Efthimis Filippou to pen the script for Kinds of Kindness. The pair previously worked together on Lanthimos’ movies The Lobster, Killing of a Sacred Deer, and Dogtooth.
