The recent arc of the series concluded with the preview episode 7. The preview images and promotional teaser for the upcoming The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 8 were released. It’s challenging to predict the course of the plot considering how chaotic of a hero Cid is. However, episode 7 gave some subtle hints about what Cid and Shadow Garden will do shortly.

The Eminence in Shadow Season 2 Episode 8 will be released in Japan at 10:30 p.m. JST on Wednesday, November 22. It will be available for streaming on HIDIVE on November 22 at 11:30 a.m. PDT, 12:30 p.m. CT, and 2:30 p.m. EST. Fans of The Eminence in Shadow who reside in the United Kingdom can watch the episode at 7:30 pm BST.

There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding the English dub. But it’ll be available to stream on HIDIVE around the same time as the subbed version.

The previous episode of the series focused on the Shadow Garden getting to know about Shadow’s alias, John Smith. This sudden revelation leaves Alpha quite dejected as she reminisces about all the promises Shadow made to her.

The episode later focuses on them figuring out the entire ordeal, and Delta also returns so everyone relaxes a bit. We witnessed Yukime battling Gettan on the other side as he was about to kill her. However, Shadow comes at the last moment to rescue her.

The preview trailer released on YouTube shows that the upcoming episode will focus on fun pool scenes. The episode will see the Shadow Garden visit a pool as Shadow has gone on a journey.
