Eminem’s Tupac-Diddy Machine Gun Kelly Diss: Here Are the Best Reactions

Eminem found a way to get people invested in his feud with Machine Gun Kelly, even if they don’t care about him or Machine Gun Kelly: By joking that Kelly won’t get a hit until Diddy admits he had Tupac murdered.

No one, to be clear, has been arrested or convicted in Tupac’s 1996 unsolved killing in Las Vegas, and many people said Eminem was out of bounds to even float a Diddy connection as a hypothetical.

“The day you put out a hit’s the day Diddy admits/That he put the hit out that got Pac killed,” Eminem rapped to Kelly in the new diss track “Killshot.” In the outro, Eminem adds, “I’m just playin’, Diddy, you know I love you.”

Representatives for Diddy did not immediately respond to TheWrap’s request for comment.

But others’ reaction was swift. Hip-hop artist Jay Electronica was clearly outraged, tweeting, “How dare you accuse diddy of killing tupac while you completely look past jimmy iovine and those who profited from his death the MOST.”

@eminem, how dare you accuse diddy of killing tupac while you completely look past jimmy iovine and those who profited from his death the MOST. You best tread carefully Son, before i come tear your ivory tower down like Sulaiman done the Templar Knights.

Machine Gun Kelly’s song “Rap Devil” accuses Eminem of trying to sabotage his success. “Killshot” came in response.
