Eminem Slams the NRA at the iHeartRadio Music Awards: Watch

Eminem performed tonight at the 2018 iHeartRadio Music Awards, and he used the opportunity to address gun control and slam the NRA. While performing his song “Nowhere Fast” with Kehlani, Eminem opened with a special verse. “This whole country is going nuts/ And the NRA is in our way/ They’re responsible for this whole production/ They hold the strings, they control the puppet,” he rapped. Eminem isn’t the only artist to bring up gun control in recent months. Common added a verse about it to his nominated song “Stand Up for Something” during the 2018 Oscars. Last year, Rosanne Cash called out the NRA, saying it “funds domestic terrorism.”
