Eminem Apparently Defended Chris Brown Over Brutal Assault Against Rihanna

A leaked snippet of what appears to be an old Eminem track has sparked outrage after the lyrics describe how the rapper defends Chris Brown over the Rihanna incident.

In the song, Eminem says he would “side with Chris Brown,” after the singer was accused of a brutal assault against Rihanna back in 2009. In the leaked audio, which has been removed from where it hosted online, he can be heard saying, “Of course I side with Chris Brown, I’d beat a b**** down too.”

Originally, A Reddit user posted the seven-second clip titled “(SNIPPET) Eminem – Things Get Worse (Rihanna dissed).” In the snippet, you could hear voiceovers which is meant to prevent a copyright infringement claim, however, the song was eventually removed.

According to reports, the verse was initially recorded for Eminem’s album, Relapse. The album dropped right around the same time Brown was being criminally charged with the beating. However, the rapper later used the song for his 2011 album, making it a part of a track called, 'Things Get Worse.'

The BoB version of the song wasn't a huge hit after its release, other obscene lyrics from the track include Eminem saying he “murdered” Dakota Fanning and “put Natasha Bedingfield in a washer," Also, Slim Shady had some less than favorable things to say about Angelina Jolie, Jessica Simpson, and Carmen Electra. He also took a shot at his mom, but that has been a theme over the years.

The Brutal Assault

Chris Brown was charged several felonies, in 2009, after he brutally beat his then-girlfriend Rihanna on Grammy weekend.

According to legal documents, surrounding Chris Brown's criminal case, the details of the blow-by-blow of the incident is shocking.

Rhianna and Chris had a huge argument following a Grammy party. On their ride home, Chris pulled over the sports car the couple was riding in and began pummelling the pop star.

"As he drove, he continued to punch the victim in the face with his right hand while steering the vehicle with his left hand," the documents reveal.

Pictures/Details Of Assault Made Public

Photographs of the graphic injuries sustained by Rihanna leaked online, showing just how bad the incident was between the two stars.

At the time, Rihanna told the cops the"assault caused her mouth to fill with blood and blood to splatter over her clothing and the inside of the car."

She continued after he "stopped his first assault .. she looked in the mirror and saw her eye beginning to swell. That's when, according to the report, "[Chris] looked at [Rihanna] and said 'I'm going to beat the s*** out of you when we get home! You wait and see!'"

In the end, Rihanna told police that Brown unleashed a second round of punches, "during which time [she] interlocked her fingers behind her head and brought her elbows forward to protect her face."

Rihanna’s swollen and bruised face were treated at a local hospital in Los Angeles. Chris Brown escaped jail time, and as a part of a plea deal, he spent 5 years on formal probation.

Squashing The Beef

Chris Brown and Rhianna have buried the hatchet recently after the mega-star used one of Brown's songs to promote her new beauty line.

It' been 10 years since the brutal assault and the alleged recording of the track, but it is unclear if the leak has anything to do with the timing.

Eminem nor Rhianna have commented since the leak of the snippet, but the duo seemingly have a good relationship, collaborating over the years on several projects.

As you’ll recall, Rhianna and the rapper, real name is Marshall Mathers, released an emotional duet 'Love the Way You Lie' in 2010 and later released 'The Monster' in 2013.
