Eminem Announces Release Date for New Album Revival

His first since 2013’s The Marshall Mathers LP 2

Following a campaign for a fake prescription drug called “Revival,” which included a billboard, website, and phone number, Eminem has properly announced the release date for his ninth studio album. Revival is out December 15 and marks the rapper’s first album since the release of The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in 2013. Check out the announcement video below, uploaded to Dr. Dre’s Instagram account. Eminem recently appeared on “Saturday Night Live” to perform his recent Beyoncé collaboration “Walk On Water,” among other tracks.

For the 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards, Eminem dropped an anti-Trump freestyle that criticized his fans who support the president and called attention to Colin Kaepernick. He also recently co-produced a battle rap movie called Bodied with music video director Joseph Kahn, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
