Eminem is releasing something new this week, but it’s not an album.

On Tuesday (Oct. 24), the Grammy Award-winning rapper unveiled the Mom’s Spaghetti pasta sauce. “From the D [to] [your] kitchen [spaghetti emoji]. Mom’s Spaghetti sauce is [dropping Thursday, Oct. 26],” he tweeted alongside a promotional video that featured jars of the spaghetti sauce falling through the sky and smashing on a red-and-white checkered tablecloth accompanied by the message, “The sauce is dropping.”

This new release is an expansion of Eminem’s Mom’s Spaghetti restaurant that he opened up in his hometown of Detroit. It pays homage to his 2002 hit single “Lose Yourself” from his debut film, 8 Mile. “His palms are sweaty, knees weak, arms are heavy/ There’s vomit on his sweater already, mom’s spaghetti,” he rapped in the opening verse.

Eminem’s latest album, Music To Be Murdered By, was released in 2020. He dropped the 20-track project with no prior announcements and it managed to peak at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, as well as the media outlet’s U.S. Top Rap Albums chart and U.S. Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart. It featured vocals from Young M.A, Royce Da 5’9,” White Gold, Ed Sheeran, Juice WRLD, Skylar Grey, Black Thought, Q-Tip, dEnAuN, Anderson .Paak, Don Toliver, Kxng Crooked, and Joell Ortiz.

As previously reported by REVOLT, last month, Eminem made a surprise appearance at 50 Cent’s “The Final Lap Tour” stop in Michigan. He joined the Queens rapper on stage to perform their collaborative hits “Patiently Waiting” and “Crack A Bottle.” After the show, 50 Cent took to Instagram to express his gratitude for the 51-year-old. “Bro, when I do anything with EM, people just go crazy. They know he really my boy. I love him till death!” he wrote.
