Emilia Clarke on how her real-life health scare impacted her role on 'Last Christmas

Earlier this year, Emilia Clarke opened up to the "New Yorker" about surviving two life-threatening brain aneurysms during the early days of "Game of Thrones." She revealed that she experienced her first aneurysm at 24 years old while working out with her trainer. Two years later, when Clarke went in for a brain scan after finishing season 3 of "Game of Thrones," doctors told her she had another aneurysm that had doubled in size. Clarke has recovered in the years since. "I have healed beyond my most unreasonable hopes," she wrote. "I am now at a hundred per cent." Clarke told Yahoo Entertainment her health scare impacted her role as Kate in the holiday-themed movie "Last Christmas." "Kate had this illness in her twenties as did I," Clarke said. "There's a huge amount with Kate that I related to that." Watch the video above for more on Emilia Clarke's new movie.
