UK dance rock outfit EMF has confirmed its first US tour dates in more than 30 years.
The shows come at the end of June, including an appearance at Summerfest in Milwaukee, as well as headlining performances in Detroit and Brooklyn. Arriving in support of their fifth studio album, The Beauty and the Chaos (released this past January), the shows mark EMF’s first American dates since 1992.
Later, from July through October, EMF will hop back across the Atlantic for a handful of dates in the UK and Ireland. Check out the full list of EMF’s upcoming tour dates below.
In a statement, the band said that it’s been “very hard keeping this news a secret.” In terms of what fans can look forward to seeing, they added, “From EMF at these shows, you can expect all the old hits with an added couple of bangers from our new album, The Beauty and the Chaos.”
In the US, EMF are perhaps best known for their crossover hit “Unbelievable.” After the group went on hiatus in the early 2000s, frontman Ian Dench found success as a songwriter for major pop acts including Beyoncé, Shakira, and Prodigy.
