You know what they say: "Life, uh, finds a way."

After Promising Young Woman and Saltburn, Emerald Fennell's dream project might come as a bit of a surprise.

In a new Q&A with Deadline Hollywood, the Oscar-winning filmmaker said that her ideal passion project would involve taking a certain dinosaur-driven blockbuster franchise in a very unexpected direction.

"I honestly feel that I've been so lucky. I've been able to make my dream projects already," Fennell began, sounding pretty standard-issue. Then things got interesting: "But my favorite film of all time is Jurassic Park, so I would love to get in on the dinosaurs."

What does a trip to the dinosaur theme park look like under Fennell's supervision? Sexy, of course.

"First and foremost, it's very erotic," she explained. "I think humans and dinosaurs have gotten to that stage in their time together where things are starting to get quite thrilling. So, there’s a marriage between a man and a velociraptor and it’s basically a domestic drama."

Despite two film trilogies, an animated series, three novels, and many video games, human-dino marriage remains an unexplored aspect of the Jurassic World franchise. Perhaps Fennell will be the one to change that.

As for what else occupies her daydreams, the actress and filmmaker had another well-known title in mind when asked to name the role she's always wanted to play.

"I think it's got to be a super villain, right? It's sad they've just done The Little Mermaid because Ursula the Sea Witch is my inspiration and my muse," Fennell said, "I've always loved her. I've always felt she deserves her own prequel where she's misunderstood. She's just going to the clubs, in that iconic outfit, stuffing souls into little bottles and then harvesting them."

Until the Ursula night club prequel or the erotic Jurassic Park sequel comes to fruition, fans of the filmmaker can see things get "rowdy and sexy" in Fennell's latest offering, Saltburn, which features Barry Keoghan obsessing over Jacob Elordi in an escalating psychosexual drama.

Fennell previously described the film to EW as "macabre dark comedy," adding, "I think the laugh-gasp is the thing that I'm always looking for in a movie. And I think it's also where you start to question yourself as an audience member. Those places where you're like, 'Is this sexy? Is it revolting? Do I love him? Do I hate him?' That's part of what this movie is about."
