Embrace Your Peculiarity in New TV Spot for Tim Burton's 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children'
Tim Burton is deep in his element in the big screen adaptation of Ransom Riggs’ popular young adult novel, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. Who better to bring to the screen fantastical elements like invisibly boys, and girls with giant mouths on the backs of their heads (see them in action in the TV spot above).

Somewhat of an amalgamation of previous Burton films, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children is a gothic but light-hearted fantasy about a teenage boy, Jacob, who arrives at an orphanage filled with children with magical powers, and must eventually save them from evil forces who wish to steal their abilities. The home is run by the titular Miss Peregrine, who, as we see in the spot, can transform into a beautiful, blue bird.

Burton has assembled a terrific cast to bring alive the script by Jane Goldman (X-Men: First Class, Kingsman: the Secret Service), including rising star Asa Butterfield as Jacob, and Eva Green, fresh off the unexpected finale of Penny Dreadful, as Miss Peregrine. White-haired, glowing-eyed Samuel L. Jackson leads the contingent coming after the kids.
Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children flies into theaters on Sept. 30.
