Teen Mom 2' s Kailyn Lowry Says Her Relationship with Ex Chris Lopez Is 'Horrible'
Kailyn Lowry is taking a break from dating.
After years of an on-off relationship with her ex, Chris Lopez, the Teen Mom 2 star is officially done hoping for a happy ending.
“Things with [Chris] are horrible. I don’t have any expectations whatsoever,” she tells PEOPLE of her future with Lopez. “I literally don’t even know what to think at this point. I can’t change his mind. I’ve walked in my truth.”
Lowry and Lopez share son Lux Russell, 1. Fans have watched as Lowry has struggled to navigate her relationship with her ex while trying to maintain a peaceful co-parenting situation.
She says she is no longer waiting for Lopez to decide he wants a commitment.
“I’ve ruined other relationships for him and then it didn’t work out. So at this point, I can’t convince him of what he’s done to me,” she says. “I’ve stuck around long enough.”

Lowry was recently surprised with a party for her 27th birthday. Despite being invited, Lopez chose not to attend — or bring their son.
“Everybody in his family was invited and nobody came, including the baby,” she says.
And while the 27-year-old is disappointed with the outcome of their relationship, she’s not surprised.
“This is how it goes with me and him,” she says. “They’re either really good or they’re really bad.”

Moving forward, Lowry says she wants to focus on raising her three kids and put her love life on the back burner.
“I’m just not really making dating a priority,” she says.
Along with sharing Lux with Lopez, Lowry also has two other children from previous relationships: 7-year-old Isaac with ex-boyfriend Jo Rivera, and 3-year-old Lincoln, whom she shares with ex-husband Javi Marroquin.
