Super Troopers 2 : Meow is the time for the first red-band trailer

The boys are back in action on the highways of Vermont, with a stress on the “high,” in a hilarious teaser trailer for the sequel to the much-beloved, oft-referenced cult comedy 

.

Viewers are instructed to “Shave the date” for the new film’s release, slated for April 20, 2018 (that’s right, 4/20, as the trailer highlights more than once).

The usual suspects are back — even Brian Cox’s curmudgeonly Captain O’Hagan — as they cuff Rabbit (Erik Stolhanske) to a bench and get ready to shave his nether regions (because he didn’t get enough shaving cream the first time around). The only patrolman excited for the task at hand? Why, that’s Farva (Kevin Heffernan) of course, who can always be counted on for unending amounts of enthusiasm.
