RuPaul's Drag Race alums recap Claws season 1 in hilarious video
“If you’re not wearing nails, then you’re not doing drag,” says drag queen Alaska of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The saying comes to life in Queens on Claws, a new Claws season 1 recap video where five Drag Race queens play the cutthroat nail technicians of the Nail Artisan salon.
Bob the Drag Queen leads a group of fierce queens as Desna Simms, a nail salon owner-turned-money launderer played by Niecy Nash. She’s joined by Gia Gunn, Jinkx Monsoon, Alyssa Edwards, and Valentina, who reenact crucial
scenes.

Nash offered her own recap to EW earlier this month.
“Season 1 was all about Desna trying to get out from under the Dixie Mafia, but now she’s leaning in,” Nash said. “One of the women from the Russian Mafia is a new mentor and is putting her on a fast track to becoming a queenpin.”
Monsoon as Polly — Desna’s loyal friend played by Carrie Preston — is the true scene-stealer. She gets straight to the point about just how intense things are in Manatee County.
“Congratulations, I’m scared sh—less,” Monsoon says in the clip.
