RHOA 's NeNe Leakes Allegedly Fat-Shames New Mom Porsha Williams — 6 Days After She Gave Birth
Cynthia Bailey isn’t the only one involved in a major friendship fallout with NeNe Leakes right now.
On Friday, fellow Real Housewives of Atlanta castmate Porsha Williams shared a series of alleged text messages between her and Leakes, in which both appear to be walking away from their sisterly relationship for good.
In the alleged messages, which have since been deleted, the Housewives traded insults with one another — Leakes calling Williams, who gave birth to her first child just six days ago, a “lying ass big fat hungry bitch” and a “big piggy with the busted shape.”
“Try dieting,” Leakes allegedly said, referencing Williams’ “giant body” and skinny ankles. “That’s something you have never been good at.”
Williams had words for Leakes of her own, slamming her “granddaddy long legs and box body” and calling her “sick” in the alleged messages.

“This is what my so called ‘Big sis’ sent me 6 days after giving birth,” Williams, who recently welcomed daughter Pilar Jhena with fiancé Dennis McKinley, wrote in the caption to her Instagram post. “NeNe is so miserable and ain’t happy for nobody. #FatShamingANewMomShameOnYou.”
Reps for both Leakes and Williams did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Their battle appears to have been sparked by the trailer premiere of the RHOA reunion, which showed Williams implying that Leakes had put her hands on her during the infamous closet incident.
As fans remember, Leakes had exploded on Williams and costar Kandi Burruss, 42, during a group party at her home as they attempted to peek into her bedroom closet during filming, despite Leakes’ repeated requests that they stay out.
The scene got so out of control that Leakes ended up grabbing a cameraman who was following them, ripping his shirt in the process. But Williams, who was pregnant at the time, also seemed to hint that Leakes’ rage carried over to her, too, when the cameras were down.
“If somebody tells you they were not terrified, they are f—ing lying,” Williams said in the RHOA reunion trailer, costar Tanya Sam adding that she had told Leakes to “Get off her” in the moment.
Leakes called the claim that she got physical with Williams a “f—ing lie” in the reunion, on a since-expired Instagram Live, and in her alleged texts to Williams.
“You know I never put my hands on you!” Leakes allegedly texted Williams, according to the deleted Instagram post on Friday, claiming that the other Atlanta Housewives would back her up. “You want an excuse for going in my closet without my permission. … You can talk yo fake s— on IG all you want but remember my house is lit with cameras! … If you got something to say, say the truth because if I put my hands on you, you will know it 100.”
From there, Leakes allegedly pointed out that she had been a loyal friend to Williams — standing by her after Williams got into a physical fight at a previous reunion with former Housewife Kenya Moore as well as after Williams’ falling out with Burruss.
A heated back and forth came up next, Williams maintaining that she never lied, conspired or tried to “set up” Leakes (something Leakes also allegedly accused her of).
“Kiss my ass!” Williams wrote in the alleged text messages. “I don’t really give a dayum. Bye girl. … I’m happy and blessed. Goodnight edges.”
“You so full of s—,” Leakes allegedly snapped back, before referencing Williams’ 3-episode spinoff series around the final days of her pregnancy and the birth of her first child. “Go enjoy your one time, 3-episode commercial. I had 12 episodes [of a spinoff series] and trust I won’t watch not one of yours. Too busy securing [my money].”
Leakes allegedly added to Williams: “Your day coming just like it has in the past! I’m a lot of things but what I don’t do is f– over people and lie for no reason! That’s the makeup you wear. Just remember, I’m the HBIC that YOU want to be. Bye bitch.”

Also on Friday, Leakes’ seemingly confirmed that the text messages were authentic when she went on to share her own receipts.
On her Instagram, Leakes posted screenshots of alleged congratulatory texts she had sent Williams after the birth of her daughter. In the caption to her post, which has since been deleted, Leakes said that she only lashed out on Williams when she saw negative things Williams had said on social media.
“I could have responded back on social media but I decided to text rather than do that,” Leakes wrote.
That only angered Williams more. “And that is why you are sick!” Williams said, in a comment. “You started with me…and now you play victim! It’s too hard being friends with you. I’m don… so enjoy being exposed. Talk about that on your closet special, sis.”
