Last Man on Earth : Big time jump reveals surprising relationship
We are already down to the second-to-last week of The Last Man on Earth‘s third season, and you could say that time is really flying by.
Especially with Sunday’s episode of the post-apocalyptic comedy, which seems to advance our story several months into the future. Check out this first-look clip, which reveals that Erica (Cleopatra Coleman) is highly pregnant. What’s more, she appears to be in some kind of romantic relationship with Gail (Mary Steenburgen), as they share a cuddly moment. “What are you thinking about?” Gail asks. “Someone very special to me,” answers Erica coyly. “I wonder who that could be,” is the response. “Oh, Gail, you’re my rock.” “And you’re my roll.”
Feel the love, see the kiss, wonder what they mean by the “big day,” and think back on those knowing looks they exchanged when the pair first met Phil (Will Forte) in season 1 and said, “So I guess that’s the end of that chapter.”
