CBS This Morning Anchor Bianna Golodryga Leaving Network After 6 Months
CBS is shaking things up.
Six months after joining the panel as co-anchor, Bianna Golodryga is leaving CBS This Morning.
“Bianna Golodryga has decided to leave the network,” a CBS News spokesperson said in a statement obtained by PEOPLE on Wednesday.
“We thank her for her many contributions during her time here at CBS News and wish her the very best in her future endeavors,” continued the statement.
Golodryga, 40, hosted the show alongside Gayle King, Norah O’Donnell and John Dickerson.

According to HuffPost, Golodryga’s deal with CBS News guaranteed her a co-anchor position on CBS This Morning, allowing her to leave the network if she wasn’t kept in that role. HuffPost also reports that Golodryga is expected to stay at CNN, where she has a contributor role. (She makes weekly appearances on The Situation Room with Wolf Blitzer.)
Golodryga began reporting for CBS News in 2017 and was a reporter and fill-in co-host for CBS This Morning until she officially joined the panel in October. Her past work experience includes reporting jobs at CNN, ABC News, Yahoo! News, CNBC and the weekend edition of Good Morning America.
Born in the Soviet Union, she immigrated to Texas as a political refugee when she was still a baby. She is married to former Obama staffer Peter R. Orszag, and they have two children together.

King, 64, and O’Donnell, 45, have both co-anchored CBS This Morning since 2012. Dickerson, 50, joined in January 2018 after longtime lead Charlie Rose was fired due to allegations of sexual harassment.
CBS This Morning airs weekdays (7 a.m. ET) on CBS.
