Avengers: Endgame Called 'Astonishing' and 'Amazing' in Glowing First Reactions
Avengers: Endgame was screened for the first time Monday night — and judging by first reactions, fans are in for something special.
After the film’s world premiere in Los Angeles, journalists took to Twitter to express their overwhelmingly positive reactions to the film, which has a total running time of 3 hours.
“#AvengersEndgame is an astonishing, amazing film,” Brandon Davis of ComicBook.com tweeted. “I’ve never seen anything like it. This movie is everything I wanted to be and SO much more. Amazing.”

“Erik Davis of Fandago tweeted, “#AvengersEndgame is a masterful epic – a true culmination of 22 films that not only concludes the story, but expands upon it.”
Calling the film “incredible,” film critic Scott Mantz tweeted, “Avengers: Endgame brings the entire MCU to a rousing, exciting, deeply moving & wholly satisfying conclusion! It’s a *BEAUTIFUL* film! Fun, smart, clever, BRILLIANT!”
“Don’t know how any Marvel Studios fan walks out of #AvengersEndgame disappointed,” Collider‘s Steven Weintraub tweeted. “Movie is loaded with incredible set pieces and tons of small character moments that leave you wanting more. An epic conclusion to 10 years of Marvel movies.”

Along with obvious praise for epic action scenes, the film was also recognized for its emotional factor, with Variety‘s Ramin Setoodeh, author of “Ladies Who Punch,” tweeting out, “There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the credits rolled for #AvengersEndgame.”
Dave Itzkoff of The New York Times echoed the praise for the film’s emotional factor, tweeting, “I was not prepared for the range of emotions that #Endgame put me through, from utter despair to pure elation. I laughed, I cried, I wished Tony Stark was my dad.”

The overwhelming praise should only further excite fans for Endgame, which is predicted to set box office records as the Avengers and Thanos engage in an all out war for the final time.
Avengers: Endgame opens in theaters this Friday.
